Our hand-dyed, hard-wearing sock yarn: a whole pollinator garden spun into 438 yards of everyday color.

Wildflower Sock is Royal Bee Yarn’s house sock base: 75% superwash extrafine merino for next-to-skin softness, 25% nylon for the durability your handknit socks actually need.

Each 100g skein is hand-dyed in Pacifica in gentle, tonal shades named for the blooms in our backyard pollinator garden, from creamy Elderflower to the near-black petals of Queen of the Night. The subtle varigatiion gives movement to plain stockinette and keeps stitch definition crisp for lace, cables, and colorwork alike.

Built for socks, but far from limited to them. With 438 yards per skein, one hank is plenty for a pair of adult socks, a lightweight shawl, a pair of mitts, or a baby garment. And because the merino is superwash-treated, your finished pieces go in the machine on gentle, dried flat, and ready to wear again
