Learn to Knit | 3-Week Class

No prior experience required!
If you have never picked up knitting needles before (or need a complete refresher) this is the perfect workshop for you. In this beginner-friendly class, you will learn all the foundational skills of knitting while making a cozy winter cowl. 

We use thick, bulky-weight yarn and large needles so you can see your progress instantly and finish your project quickly. You will leave this three session class with a handy printable guide, the skills to start any basic knitting project, and the start of your very own handmade cowl!

This class is a compressed 3 week version of our 4 usual week class due to the Holiday break. We are keeping this class size smaller (max 5 students)

What You Will Learn:
- The Cast On: How to get your very first stitches onto the needle.
- The Knit & Purl Stitches: The two essential building blocks of all knitting.

Materials Needed:
- Yarn: 1 skein of chunky yarn (we recommend Malabrigo Rasta)
- Needles: US15 circular knitting needles (16 or 24 inch cord length).
- Notions: 1 tapestry needle, and a pair of scissors

• The Essentials Kit: Includes 1 hank of Super Bulky yarn, US 15 bamboo circular needles, and a tapestry needle.
  

Important Notes

• Pre-Winding Service: If you purchase your yarn through our online kits, we will have it wound and ready for you at the start of class.

• Buying In-Person: You are welcome to pick out your materials at the shop! If you choose this option, please arrive at least 15 minutes before the first class so we can get your yarn wound and help you get set up.

• Student Discount: While you aren't required to purchase your yarn from us, all students enjoy a 10% discount on store materials for the duration of the class.
