Intro to Knitting Class - Essentials Kit

Whether you’re a complete novice or returning to the craft after a long break, we’ve designed this Intro to Knitting Essentials Kit to take the guesswork out of your first project.

By purchasing your kit online ahead of time, you ensure your materials are prepped and ready the moment you walk through the door.

What’s Inside the Kit?

Our instructors teach using specific materials to ensure your first experience is as smooth (and fun!) as possible. This bundle includes:

• 1 Hank of Super Bulky Yarn: We highly recommend starting with Malabrigo Rasta or Caracol. These yarns are plush, beautiful, and work up quickly so you can see your progress in real-time.
• US 15 Circular Knitting Needles: We recommend bamboo for beginners. Metal needles can be "slick," but wood provides just enough grip to help you keep control of your stitches. (Minimum 16" length).

Buying In-Person?

Prefer to touch the yarn before you choose a color? No problem! You can purchase your supplies at the shop. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your first class so we have time to get your yarn wound and your station set up.
