Curious about knitting but not sure where to start? This friendly, hands-on class is designed just for you, no experience needed! Our class sizes are small and intimate so you get the hands on attention you need! You'll leave our class with the skills needed to start your second project!
Over the course of four weekly sessions, you'll learn the knitting basics, from casting on to binding off, and everything in between. Students are welcome to bring their own materials (size 15 circular needles and a bulky or chunky weight yarn in a light color that won’t split), or you can purchase supplies in the shop.
All class participants receive 10% off storewide (except for spinning wheels and private lessons) for the duration of the class!

We’ve made it easy to get everything you need in one click! All students receive a 10% discount on class materials. Purchase your kit online for in-store pickup, and we will pre-wind your yarn for you so you're ready to knit the moment you arrive.
The Essentials Kit: Includes 1 hank of Super Bulky yarn, US 15 bamboo circular needles, and a tapestry needle.
Important Notes
Pre-Winding Service: If you purchase your yarn through our online kits, we will have it wound and ready for you at the start of class.
Buying In-Person: You are welcome to pick out your materials at the shop! If you choose this option, please arrive at least 15 minutes before the first class so we can get your yarn wound and help you get set up.
Student Discount: While you aren't required to purchase your yarn from us, all students enjoy a 10% discount on store materials for the duration of the class.
Instructor
Harry (she/her) is an avid knitter with over 8 years of experience. She is enjoys working with texturally complex patterns and colorwork projects. When she’s not knitting, you can find her hiking with her dog, playing tennis, or spending time on the bay.
