Intermediate Knitting | 3-Week Class
Ready to level up your knitting skills? In this intermediate-level class, we’ll knit the
Purl Pouch by Tori Yu, a chic, functional knit bag that’s perfect for carrying your yarn, essentials, or a small project on the go.This is a great project for knitters who are confident with the basics and want to learn:
- Knitting in the round
- Increasing and decreasing
- Picking up stitches
- Pattern reading and finishing techniques
You’ll leave with a finished (or nearly finished!) bag and a whole new set of skills to bring to your next project.

Materials Needed
- Purl Pouch pattern by Tori Yu ($7 on Ravelry – available for purchase at the shop or via Ravelry)
- Yarn and needles as listed in the pattern (available in store)
- Stitch markers, darning needle
- (Optional): scissors, row counter, crochet hook for provisional cast-on
Skill level
You should already be comfortable casting on, knitting, purling, and binding off.
This class can host up to 8 students

Instructor
Harry (she/her) is an avid knitter with over 8 years of experience. She is enjoys working with texturally complex patterns and colorwork projects. When she’s not knitting, you can find her hiking with her dog, playing tennis, or spending time on the bay.
