Create a modern heirloom in our Droplet Baby Blanket class! Led by Harriet, this three-session workshop guides you through the construction of this beautiful, textured design by Life is Cozy. The "droplet" stitch pattern creates a beautiful fabric that is as fun to knit as it is to gift.
By spreading the classes over five weeks, you’ll have plenty of time to make progress on your blanket at home between sessions, with Harriet there to help you through the tricky parts and ensure a perfect finish.
Project Details
Pattern: Droplet Blanket by Life is Cozy (Please download and print a copy or have it ready on your device before the first class).
Size: We will be focusing on the Crib Size, though the pattern is easily adaptable to a larger Throw size if you prefer.
Yardage Requirements: Approximately 1,148 yards of DK weight yarn.
What to Bring
Yarn: 1,148 yds of DK weight yarn. We have a beautiful selection of DK weights in the shop, come in early and we’ll help you pick the perfect squishy yarn for a new arrival! Students receive 10% off on materials in the shop
Needles: US 6 (4 mm), 40" circular needles
Note: Needles and yarn are available for purchase separately at Royal Bee Yarn Shop. We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early (with 10% student discount) if you need to purchase materials so we can get your yarn wound and ready to knit!
