Ready to level up your knitting skills?

In this intermediate-level class we’ll knit the Portland Raglan Dog Sweater by CalicoRadioKnits, worked from neck to tail using a raglan construction and features a folded neckband and harness hole . This sweater’s classic design makes it a great go-to sweater that can be adapted to fit a variety of shapes and styles.

In this class you'll build confidence in intermediate techniques like:

Short-row shaping

Working seamlessly in the round

Customizing fit for furry friends

  For sizes XXS, XS, S:
  Circular needles: 4.5 mm (US7) 30 cm (12 inches) & 4 mm (US6) 23 cm (9 inches)For sizes M, L, XL:
  Circular needles: 4.5 mm (US7) 40 cm (16 inches) & 4 mm (US6) 30 cm (12 inches)
• Yarn: DK or Worsted Weight Yarn (200 - 1000 yards, depending on the size of your furry friend) 
• Tapestry needle, stitch markers, scissors
• Portland Raglan Dog Sweater pattern (Free on Ravelry)

Skill level

You should already be comfortable casting on, knitting, purling, and knitting in the round.

This class can host up to 8 students

Harry (she/her) is an avid knitter with over 8 years of experience. She is enjoys working with texturally complex patterns and colorwork projects. When she’s not knitting, you can find her hiking with her dog, playing tennis, or spending time on the bay.
