Darning and repair needles
Darning needles have a sharp point and a wide eye to accommodate wool threads.
They are ideal for all types of mending and repair work. Darning involves covering a hole by weaving threads together, which will fill the hole by stitching the fabric. Our darning needles have a longer eye, making it easier to thread the darning thread through them . They are ideal for darning wool and cotton.
The numbering corresponds to the size of each of the hands, with No. 3/0 being the longest and thickest and No. 11 the shortest and thinnest in the series.
