The Magic Ring is the starting point for countless crochet patterns. Once you master it, you’ll be ready for a whole new world of projects: Hats, bags, pillows, animals and more! This workshop is for advanced beginners who’ve mastered single and double crochet stitches and are ready to learn new skills.

Materials Needed: 

• Crochet hook - size J or bigger
• One ball/skein of yarn per student, worsted weight or bulkier

About the Instructor
Petra Schumann learned to knit and crochet as a child and loves to share her passion for fiber arts with students of all ages. She has taught art in Pacifica schools for over a dozen years, and she currently teaches workshops for adults, as well as kids, for SCRAP and SFMOMA in San Francisco.
